I am unable to play avi/divx/xvid that are longer in length. I'm not sure what the limit is, but Farscape Peacekeeper Wars is 3+ hrs long and it errors after the initial buffering. All other "normal length" episodes and movies work fine. Peacekeeper Wars works fine on my PC/PS3/360.

Also, a button assigned for changing the aspect ratio would be wonderful!

Funny thing is, I had gotten a code dump when playing Watchmen - Director's Cut, then I read this.

I already told you before. It's against the rules to post stuff that do not contribute to the discussion and only have one word. Next time, I reporting you to a mod.

Great work!

The only things I'd like to see is a new tab named "All Media" next to the Videos tab and maybe an option to not show hidden files and folders.

Other than that, thumbs up

WiiMC Channel released (not official)!

It's static so don't expect flashy animations... it's kinda simple, but I hope you like my channel!

Click here for the channel thread

Id love to see those 4 columns be animated, with a guitar riff. Thats all it really needs
Well if someone knows how to use benzin, you can use the photoshop files for the channel (bundled with the channel) and animate them... I can't

Well, seems even version 1.0.1 doesn't work for me.
WiiMC takes pretty long to start (black screen for almost a min.) Then I see the nice background and buttons.
But nothing happens when I hit any of the buttons....

I can't go to settings or else where. I don't even see any filelist.

Could It be cos I got my NTFS partition on second? WBFS is first....

Unplug harddisk, load WiiMC and plug it back in. Maybe you won't see the partitions right away, but do some browsing and they will show up. I had to do it this way with 1.0.0, because I got a code dump everytime I tried to open WiiMC.

OH MY GOD ITS AWESOME!!! AWESOME!!!
So close to perfection!!
The only problem i have, i put my Samurai Champloo data DVD and it only shows 9 files, when its actually 26! Anyone knows what it coul be happening?
Otherwise, its pure awesomeness. I downloaded almost every other Media Players for the Wii and hate them all, lame interfaces, etc.
This is perfection!

On 1.0.1, still got a code dump with second partition NTFS. Unplugged the USB HDD and launched a DVD just fine though.

Bit of a bummer, but I'll test loading the app without the USB HDD plugged in and then plugging it in to see if that works.

Still, it's a significant achievement in the Wii scene. Anyone want to write up a tutorial for setting the Wii/PC up for a media server to use WiiMC?

/me can't wait for this app to work flawlessly.

Try a different SD if you can, also try booting directly from USB if you can too.

Is it possible to use either of the USB ports for a hd? This way i can leave my WFBS drive in the left slot and put a different drive with ROMS & Movies in the other usb slot..

I already tried other SD. same result
Also I don't have a FAT32 partition on my HDD. I don't want to setup an FAT partition on that HDD.

I'll stay with mplayer ce at this point.

Nothing but code dumps for me.

Tried a 2GB Kodak and an 8GB Sandisk.

Looks promising though, hopefully future revisions will work a bit better.
