Hacking Wiikey switch...Should I?

I got a retail version of SSBB and of course I know all about the installing of the Switch to get it to work. My big question is should I just go on ahead anyways and do the switch, I have a DL rip of the the jap version thats just fine for me right now. Since im assuming Mario Kart which I will buy will maybe be DL as well and then just turn off the chip again and not deal with it. Or possibly switch chips, or wait for an update? I mean have the switches caused any problems or is there a wrong type of switch to get? Also I hear that the best method is to use the ground over the VCC due to some problems with the VCC part. Let me know what you guys think before i just go drilling my wii. Thanx!



Also I think a lot more BIG WII titles will use this DL disc to get more data on especially the newer ones with online.

mario kart aint gonna be dual layer ,shit by looking at the videos so far it could probably run on a n64 cartridge,,,
