Hacking Wiikey not blocking updates

I thought I'd ask here since somebody might have an answer, I'm using a PAL Wii 3.2E with Wiikey v1 installed, 1.9S (X) firmware, whenever I use the configuration disc to turn on the Block Updates feature it'll always turn itself back to off.

Has anyone been able to successfully keep the block update feature on?

IIRC, you have to enable the Debug Mode too, to make it work.

And by the way, it'll always turn off because the config disc can't actually read the configuration back, but don't worry, it has been saved.

I assume that's Dev Mode? Only thing that seems close in the menu, I tried that just now. Turning them both on, saving the settings, restarting the control from the config disc, then I put in my game.. still asks me for an update.

Or you could just use Starfall....

Very well, I will try Starfall.. and if that somehow fails to stop the updates (knowing my luck), I'll move onto Preloader.
