Hacking Wiikey chip help...

I installed my Wiikey with wires months ago. Point 4 came off today, as I was case modding the Wii (I probably should've done it all together, but I guess I made a mistake). Most likely I can solder it again (I don't think the pad's burnt). But if I have to solder it to the drive chip, can someone help me out with a visual guide of where the chip is and where I have to solder it to? I know it's even harder to do than the point, but I don't want to buy another Wii.

Also, is that metal casing on top of the DVD part really necessary? It seems a little tight in there with the XCM black case and was wondering if I can just choose not to put it in there.

the metal casing is not absolutely required, you can remove it if you really really want to. Here is a couple of pics of wired / repair installs I've done, maybe this can help you. Good Luck!
