Hacking Wiikey 1.9g/NTSC-J, SMG JPN backup no more working

Weird problem I face here on my NTSC-J console with Wiikey 1.9g (never used the config disc after I did that once in Wiikey 1.2 though):

All the other original discs/backups works (even NTSC-U region backups) but the SMG JPN and SMG US backup discs no longer show up on the Disc Channel, it's not recognized. The console was semi-bricked in 2.2J last time but recovered from it using the SMG JPN disc and have updated to 3.1J firmware. Was able to play SMG JPN for a bit of course, but now upon loading the SMG JPN/US discs, it no longer get recognized

The same issue with the Wiikey 1.9g update disc, of course I could boot it last time to update, but now it also shows up unrecognized on the Disc Channel. Am using all quality Taiyo Yuden discs here. So all my other backups, including newer Sonic and Mario US works. Any idea what gives?

Just tried reformatting the Wii... no go, still the same problem

Yeap... strange isn't it? I played SMG JPN for a bit, and now the disc just don't get recognized no more

i'd try reburning anyway, at 4x if u didn't before.. could be a bad batch of discs or whatnot..! or try 3x read speed @ wiikey setup

It could be that the drive is starting to spoil? I have just recently had problems with the audio in High School Musical on my Wii....the music would skip like a scratched CD. Reducing the DVD drive speed to 3x seems to have fixed it so far.

Maybe its a sign to get that US Wii you want.

Can't be that it's starting to spoil... all my other backups work just fine... no difference in 6x or 3x I've tried
