Hey, everyone. I'm just at my wits end about what to do about this, nothing just seems to work.

Basically, I can't load Gamecube games in WiiFlow now. Or even Postloader for that matter.

I have a Black Wii, priiloader with installed file to autoboot WiiFlow. 2TB Western Digital Passport external USB HDD, and Sandisk 128GB SDXC card formatted to FAT32. Both of these have been working wonderfully all this year.

For the longest time, my Gamecube games were playing perfectly! But, I was having problems with WiiFlow not booting Wii games from USB. But, they worked in other loaders just fine (USB Loader GX, Postloader). So, I reinstalled my cIOS 249 & 250 alt wads... Still weren't booting. Just black screen/need a hard reset.

So, then I thought maybe something was corrupt with WiiFlow itself? I tried just using a fresh new replacement of all the WiiFlow files (apps file and SD root file). I put my old plugins/cache/box art/source_menu/music back in as well. Still no go for booting Wii games...

Next, I tried installing some different, perhaps newer cIOS files, which I had found in Abz Masterpiece complete pack.

- cIOS202[60]-hermesrodries-v5.1
-cIOS222[38]-hermes-v5.1
-cIOS224[37]-hermes-v5.1
-cIOS223[57]-hermes-v5.1
-cIOS245[37]-d2x-v10-beta53-alt
-cIOS246[38]-d2x-v10-beta53-alt
-cIOS247[53]-d2x-v10-beta53-alt
-cIOS248[55]-d2x-v10-beta53-alt
-cIOS249[56]-d2x-v10-beta52
-cIOS250[57]-d2x-v10-beta53-alt
-cIOS251[58]-d2x-v10-beta53-alt
-cIOS252[56]-d2x-v10-beta53-alt

I didn't touch any of the DIOSMIOS, DML, or Quadforce stuff, because I mostly just use Devolution, along with Nintendont for some things. I keep the default MIOS installed.

Anyways. Installing these files made my Wii games finally boot from WiiFlow!

Now, I had another problem. My Gamecube button in WiiFlow's source menu kept popping up "DISABLED", every time I clicked it. I searched around on these forums and found a solution to that, which involved editing Wiiflow.ini.

I can click on the Gamecube source and show my games now! But, when I click them, the screen just pops up black for a bit, then WiiFlow reboots.

I've been scratching my head over this all day. I've always booted Gamecube games from my SD card, so it can't be a cIOS problem with USB problems, right? Perhaps I'm wrong.

I tried booting up Devolution from HBC, and it plays Gamecube games just fine. So, I don't think it's Devolution's fault.

I don't have a syscheck yet. My PC here at home doesn't want to download the file from hacksden, it keeps telling me I'm downloading files way too fast and need to wait 58 seconds every time... I don't know why. So I'll try to download syscheck while I'm at work tomorrow and do a syscheck when I get back home.

I just am not sure what else to try at this point. Anyone have any ideas about what I've done wrong? =/

EDIT: Apparently, Gamecube games are black screening and need hard resets now.

[SOLVED]

I finally found the culprit of this issue.

Apparently the issue was a Devolution/WiiFlow problem. Which amounted to the loader.bin file being corrupt (maybe?).

I replaced the loader.bin with the latest revision, then popped it in the Wii. Devolution was instantly booting up my Gamecube games from WiiFlow once again. I went ahead and just updated to the latest Devolution while I was at it.

Good to see my Gamecube games up and running once again.

Anyone else who may run into this problem - Find and download GC_DEVO_SRC. Extract the loader.bin from the "Data" file within the zip, and place it in the root of SD:/WiiFlow.

I hope this helps anyone else who may run into this issue. Good day!
