The main issue with wiiflow was and still is memory management, so we don't like adding buttons because many functions could suffer.
That's the second reason of not adding extra buttons
I'll try to fix the issues you're having but I need to know this:
Is force video working the 1054 mastermod in my sig? with 1076 mod in my sig? in fledge's 1054 private server mod?
this will help fix issue faster
I have NTSC Wii and NTSC games. whenever i tried forcing a game to PAL it never worked. So I assume i would need an PAL game to force it to NTSC because you can't force a NTSC game to PAL on a NTSC system? for me the only thing i could do was chooses 480i or 480p.

Getting some trouble with the Nintendo DS emulator. Getting a "no arm7 bios" found.

I'm guessing I need to download the bios files and add them? I got them off emuparadise, will those work?

Can someone explain the layout of the files as well?

>DS

>>BIOS

>>>(3 bios files)

>>ROMS

>>>(game folder 1)

>>>>(game .nds 1)

>>>(game folder 2... etc.)

>>SAVES

Nvm about the statement above. I figured it out, but I have a new problem. Every time I load a GC game I have to cancel auto-boot, go into the Nintendont settings and turn the memecard on and boot the game from there. It wouldn't be such a problem if I had to only do it once but the settings reset to default afterwards. So if I let the game boot from Wiiflow the I won't be able to save the game, anyway to fix this problem? Thanks m8's

hello everyone. I'm here again with RetroArch trouble. I though that Retroarch-wii autoboot games only if Wiiflow pack is on sd card. But i read forum and found, that somebody got this work, without sd card. I have trouble with sd - very slow. loading plugin takes 20-30 sec, usb takes just 3 sec. And games from sd not work (Wii). I think...
1) maybe it's possible to run wiiflow via usb drive, but run some plugin .dol's from sd card (and if possible roms from usb drive)?
2) or maybe is there was another version of retroarch plugin (maybe older), which make run games from usb drive? (I don't know why almost eveyone have no troubles with retroarch plugins from usb drive only)
3) or maybe i have something, what i need to fix\edit\etc? Retroarch from sd drive runs normally, but slow time loadings is pain

you can use any combo of SD/USB and all should work fine

of course i tried combo, slow sd card loadings i see when i use this combo. Also troubles with loading Wii games. it possilbe to run almost everything with 10x longer time loading. Is there no way to run retroarch plugins from sd card, but everything else from usb?

...and on this forum i found messages, that much people got Retroarch plugin work via usb drive...

so, without SD card (or when plugin on SD, but Wiiflow on usb) it's absolutely impossible to run this?

No, it doesn't need an SD card. However, due to the way it's written you will either need one when setting it up or you may have to run the WiiFlow Start Configurator homebrew app before you use it. The loader defaults to using IOS58 instead of a cIOS when booting so it may get an exception error when running it from a USB device initially otherwise.

The configuration app will let you choose an IOS for Wiiflow before you run it the first time.

So sad, but this thing did not solved my retroarch plugin trouble :(
But thank you anywhere

you can add nmm=0 1 or 2 to dml section of wiiflow.ini

Related to how to set NMM globally, how about other Nintendont settings:
  • Native Controls
  • Force Widescreen
  • number of Memcard Blocks when using Memcard emulation (which I see is determined by the same NMM setting value you describe)
All of those can be set per-game, but I don't see where in WiiFlow one can set the initial value for games the default settings of which have not yet been altered. If there is no UI for those, can one set them in the ini too?

WiiFlow and Nintendont default options:

* Nintendont is default loader now
* GC mode always enabled
* MC Emu on by default using 2mb files
* Pressing B for Source Menu is enabled by defaut too

These options are now global settings in /apps/wiiflow/wiiflow.ini so change the default value to your liking
to enable use "yes", to disable use "no"

-------------------
For 1076 mastermod:
-------------------
USB_HID=yes (for Disabling HDD Pinging under [dml] section)
NATIVE_CTL=yes (for native GC controller under [DML] section)
Deflicker=yes (for force deflicker video under [DML] section)
screenshot =yes (for wiiu widescreen under [DML] section)
dm_widescreen=yes (for widescreen patch under [DML] section)

For MC Emulation: (under [DML] section)
dml_nmm=0 for disabled / dml_nmm=1 for enabled / dml_nmm=2 for Multisave
enabled is the default using 2mb files - multi uses 8mb files (one for us/pal one for jap)

For launching Wiiware/VC using Neek2o:
useneek=yes (under [NAND] section)

For using Wii games private server:
private_server=yes (under [Games] section)

-------------------
For 1054 mastermod:
-------------------
USB_HID=yes (for USB Controller under [dml] section)
NATIVE_CONTROL=yes (for native GC controller under [DML] section)
WIIU_WIDE=yes (for wiiu widescreen under [DML] section)
dm_widescreen=yes (for widescreen patch under [DML] section)

For MC Emulation: (under [DML] section)
dml_nmm=0 for disabled / dml_nmm=1 for enabled / dml_nmm=2 for Multisave
enabled is the default using 2mb files - multi uses 8mb files (one for us/pal one for jap)

For launching Wiiware/VC using Neek2o:
useneek=yes (under [NAND] section)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
P.S. delete \wiiflow\settings\gameconfig2.ini file to restore default configuration

well i've had 19 downloads of my1054 mastermod and no complaints but no thumbs up either. the link is on page 60 of this thread if you want it. If you like it great, if not i don't really care because to me 1076 mastermod works just as good as 1054. they both mess up a cover from time to time, when that happens i just go back to source menu and try again and the covers usually fixed.

Hey Abz, good thing you added all those cheat codes for wii, channels, and gamecube games to your pack. geckocodes.org is down now, not sure if it's for good or temporary. but at least we have your pack!

yeah, I also have many custom ones for GC and Triforce too,
no major stuff to update now but on my next update I'll make 1054 private server mod as default dol with the other two in _alternate stuff.
Thanks for your update boss
