Hacking WiiFlow 4 The Masterpiece Pack by Abz

okay i didnt follow this guide i just put the plugins in the plugin folder and did a few other things, anyway the reason im here is:

i want to separate the roms/emulators in wiiflow, so that the n64 roms arent with the NES or SNES and everything like that,ive seen it dont but i havent seen a guide on how to do it

Yeah but it only shows 5 Buttons just like the original wiiFlow would, It shows the USB symbol(wii), then GC symbol, then a NES controller Symbol (which is emulator section where every rom and emu plugini shows up) then its just the NAND and Channel buttons

SO i think there is something special i have to do to seperate the emus and roms, and to be able to see the different emus when u Press "B" on the wii flow covers page

check wiiflow4wiki or just extract the masterpack as is (it's pre-set with 60+ emulators)

can you download your missing covers using official rev1076?
If it hangs at same place then you might need to scan your sd/hdd for errors, or delete/rebuild the cache

does this pack have everything updated to latest version? and how do i install a custom theme on the premade emunand? and how do i install my games that i backup on my disk to sd card?

ok i've been out of the loop for a while. what's the private server for? and you fixed the internal updater? does it get only new mastermod releases by you i assume?

edit: I think i figured out the private server. nintendo shut down there server for online play of games that support it. so now to play games online people are using wiimmfi server and the new setting in wiiflow will patch the game to use wiimfi private server instead of the nintendo server.

also the wiiflow updater was changed to update from copy.com whenever abz post a new version of mastermod. yes?

and yes you got'em both right, though the update path was changed when copy.com forced https links, I believe theyy are hosted on http://nintendont.gxarena.com/banners/ now

I am all new to the wii modding. I want to be able to play my nes, snes, n64, gamecube and wii games on my wii. I copied the whole WiiFlow_v4.2.3_Nintendont_MasterMod_Pack_Full zip contents on to my sd card, already have homebrew installed and I have wiiflow as a channel on my wii, I want my USB stick to see my games. I cannot find instructions on the usb stick folder format of where to store the rom files. Right now they are all z7 format. From reading, everything under apps folder is what the wii will look for. Is wiiflow different when it comes to reading the usb stick?

Deleting the music files i had in Wiiflow/Music/ seems to have fixed the problem.

Seems this is only a temporary fix, i have been able to get a lot more covers downloaded before it stalls, but it still stalls. Sometimes doesnt download any at all just returns 0/422 downloaded.

One issue I am having though is after successfully loading a VC game with neek2o it will always exit me back to the emunand system menu instead of WiiFlow? I am running the masterpack 4.2.3 and used ModMii to ensure my softmod was up to date, I am also running d2x-v10-beta2/3 in the appropriate slots as per the instructions on the mastermod web site. Any suggestions on what I can check/change to resolve this

Thanks for the suggestion - I'm using your prebuilt emunand from the pack which already has that channel installed (I doublechecked with showmiiwads to confirm it was there) and I have definitely got it installed on my real nand.

I have tried creating another emunand using your prebuilt one, but the result is the same...

One thing that seems a little weird is that when it kicks me to the emunand system menu, the uneek+di overlay menu autoboot settings don't seem to be honoured. I have tried fiddling with the autoboot settings but my changes just seem to be ignored (it remembers the setting between reboots, it just seems to disregard it. I have tried autobooting both Wiiflow and back 2 nand but both options result in it starting the emunand SM). Other overlay menu settings do seem to be honoured though.

While in a neek2o game I am pressing the 'Home' button and then choosing 'Wii Menu' expecting to end up back at Wiiflow - is that how it should work?

Just tried that, it powered off my wii like it's supposed to? I'm not stuck in emunand mode if that wasn't clear, I can get back to real nand easily enough - would just like wiiflow to autostart when I quit a game that is running in neek2o mode

I ll double check that:
1.wiiflow channel (DWFA)
2.wiiflow hidden loader channel
are both installed on emunand
wiiflow dol app is on all devices in apps/wiiflow
in wiiflow settings "return to" is set to wiiflow channel DWFA
if this doesn't work I'm out of ideas then ask Fix94
