    Hello everybody,

I'm getting crazy with trying to load roms for Wiiengine 1.5bb from my USB HDD.
From SD card it runs perfect, even cd games.
A lot other emus work with USB aswell,
for example Snes9x GX, Genesis Plus GX or PC Engine roms with Wiimednafen.
My HDD has 2 partitions, the first is FAT32, the second NTFS.
But after starting Wiiengine with my roms on USB HDD there comes an empty list.
It makes no difference if I load Wiiengine from SD or from USB HDD, with or without channel.
I haven't found any options to change that.
What means in the update changes "use the [SD] or [USB] entries to change the device" ?
What entries ??? There's no config file or something equal.

    Who can help :(

    Thanks :)

WiiEngine is quite old and probably was compiled with outdated libraries, which is why usb support would be limited and less compatible than more recent emus. Not sure why you would want to use it though, wii-mednafen has similar if not better pce and pce-cd compatibilty and is overall more accurate.

In my opinion the grafic is smoother with wiiengine. And the cd games are much smaller with toc and ogg, for wii-mednafen I've to use the huge bin-files.
In wii-mednafen it's possible to play cd games with iso+ogg aswell, but I've no cue's to load only the toc-files with wiiengine uses.

You have clicked A button on [sd] or [usb] in the list, right?
You need cios 202 installed too for usb2 speed.

Else, as Jacobeian said, try mednafen. Generating a cue file should be possible, I think.

To get the roms to work from usb you need the app folder with wiiengine on your hdd in the same matter as it is on your sd card.
    e.g. usb:/apps/wiiengine and sd:/apps/wiiengine

    Both have to be there.

This is a bug and has been noted in the past.
Wiiengine is no longer being worked on, rom compatibiblty is low (try neutopia 1 and 2)

Wiimednafen is far superior and has better compatibilty and is more accurate.
