Wow. Wondering when this would come out.
isn't there a netflix channel or something ?
There is, I don't get this one
They must have released a disc to install the channel...Don't know why though.
It's not a channel, you HAVE to use the disk.
Unless you put it on a USB loader or something, obviously.
But then you can just make a forwarder channel and ef the system! Make netflix a installed channel like it should be.
This has been out for weeks hasnt it?
Ive had it for a while.
yes, had it like 3 weeks ago
Dont know how this is going to work. I believe the accounts and discs are linked when they ship. So that might be a problem.
I can't think of ANY cd or dvd media that can be linked to a single serial # from a burn, Wii or otherwise.
When you log on your Netflix web account, it gives you a code to type into your Wii while your PC web browser is active. Links up that way. Quick, painless. There's currently no roundabout way to crack into Netflix via this loader.
Oh. I thought that was possible. my bad. That was why i thought it hadnt been dumped.
there will definitely be a way to go around this since playing AC2 using a server was necessary but now as u can see ppl are playing it will not requiring ubisoft servers but their own computer as a small server...
gba was said that it was impossible for slot1 but we did see it...and also ps3
conclusion: anything can be got around but what samred said is very sensible and it may take time
You are not going to find a way to stream movies from the Netflix servers without using the Netflix servers.
He he he...it's not like the movies are stored on the disc itself lol !
maybe if the dol file for the main program is hacked it can be used to point to a different server.
Maybe you aren't clear on the concept, but the whole point is that Netflix has movies you can watch. Yes, there are other sources of movies, but if you want Netflix's movies you will have to get them from Netflix.
And get what from that server ? Pr0n or something ?
You really don't understand how Netflix works do you ?
Netflix is a streaming service. The content is streamed from their servers to unique IP addresses.
When you subscribe, you activate your account trough your computer with it's unique IP address.
In addition, you can add 4 more streaming devices that are linked to your account.
In order to do so, you have to activate such streaming device ( in this case the Wii ) from your PC with it's unique IP address which is linked to your name and subscription.
Are you still dreaming of hacking that ? Are you claiming that everything is possible ?
This would be pretty much like hacking your phone line so you can make phone calls for free. Or hacking your cable modem and get Internet for free. Or hacking your satellite receiver to view pay per View content for free. Do you think that's a possibility ?
The content on the Wii disc is merely a player, there is nothing magical in it that could be " hacked ", unless you are a monster hacker and could hack Netflix servers yourself ( If you are that good you should hack the Pentagon Computers as well ). Quit fantasizing on it already.
so i'm not getting this right now is this netflix useless for people that don't have an netflix account.i'm preety sure you have to pay to watch these movies on the wii.
Yes that's correct. $8.99 per month for DVDs and streaming and $2 more for Blue-ray discs. If you think about it it's less than paying for a premium channel on cable and you get a lot more.
pretty big ain't it.....wheres the scrubbed at?
