It's pretty cool. You'll need a box to put the wiimote on top of as a rigid flat surface like a table won't pass the tappity vibrations along (the game suggests using empty tissue boxes for multiplayer!). There's an unskippable tutorial to get through on booting up which goes through the light, medium and strong taps. The game modes are as you'd imagine from watching the videos. There is more to the visualizer than I thought though. Its a non-game mode where you figure out combinations of taps at your leisure to create snazzy effects on screen. Sounds a bit pointless but its a fun time waster in a weird mellow out kinda way.

Its also the Second Sega Wii game in a month to get a famitsu 40/40.

There is murmers that not only is this the best Wii party game but it is the best game to come from Sega for years.

Just noticed this is only a scrubbed release.

It is my first scrubbed release, do i have to do anything special? Or can i just burn it to dvd like i would do with the full release?

You'll have to use RegionFrii to change the region since this is a japanese game.. but no, you don't have to do anything about the scrubbing

It is! Only problem I have with the language was on the tutorial.. took me a little time to figure out what I had to do, then I saw that the numbers were decreasing according to the way I tapped

The games are pretty intuitive and simple..

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
it says it only works for the original R4, R4i Gold (r4ids.cn), R4iDSN (r4idsn.com) and Acekard R.P.G.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    nvm it does support mine
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
