No, even better. This is a new game from the creators of the Power Pad!

Look closely at the picture. Same publisher as Stadium Events, and very similar button layout.

Actually the younger people out there probably don't about the game "Athletic World" for the NES which featured a pad nearly identical to this one. Was out LONG before DDR existed. You'd do a lot of running and jumping exercises... one in particular made you sweat like a madman (the one where you had to run up a steep slope). If you subjected the balance board to the similar type of rapid-running I think you would break it, thus why you use a pad instead

While "Super Mario Bros / Duck Hunt" is ubiquitous and had the largest NES print run in North America, there was also a compilation adding World Class Track Meet (the NA-exclusive reissue of Stadium Events). Making for a cart known as "Super Mario Bros / Duck Hunt / World Class Track Meet"...

NFO says it's 77x50 - this is different to the size quoted above.

As it's a TMD release I imagine it's 'scrubbed' and, like their other two released recently:

Wi-Fi Taiou Gensen Table Game Wii Wii JAP WII-TMD
Doubutsu Kisoutengai Wii JAP WII-TMD

and even "Pro Yakyuu Family Stadium JAP WII-TMD" from the end of April

Will end up nuked

Well that blows, was hoping I could use the DDR Hottest Party pad for this title. But Famirii Toreenaa comes with a completely different pad... Konami and Bandai should have put their heads together and made one universal pad for the Wii.

I thought there'd be more NES tempers around here...

I had the original Power Pad with Track & Field. Was great fun! Just watched some vids of this Wii title and it looks good. Can`t wait for the release over here.
