Homebrew Wii/Wii U not accepting specific SD card?

I have a PAL Wii U, and a 16 GB SD card that work fine with homebrew. I recently upgraded to a Sandisk Extreme Pro 32 GB SDHC card, but it seems that whenever I put it into either of the previously mentioned consoles, I get the error, "This SD card cannot be used."
Help would be appreciated.

Yeah, it's all formatted correctly, and Windows 7/10 recognizes it fine.

the tape ( Scotch ) does not cover the metal part
