    i checked the list of compatible external hdd enclosures. these are not in the list. so i would like to ask if any of you guys have tried them before i buy them.

    some are 2.5 ide/sata
    3.5 ide/sata let me know if anyone of you guys tried them.

    Yes the 3.5" SimpleTech 500gb works for me and it is in the compatibility list. [​IMG] Satas 2.5 works best.

    I have 3.5" iMicro and WiseCase cases (both made of aluminium) and both work just fine. HDD won't get past 45ºC (Brazil's hot, btw) and the Wii doesn't have any problem loading games from them. Just get the cheapest one you can find and if, for some odd reason, it doesn't work, just return it and get a different one back (or your money). I'd worry more about the HDD itself than its enclosure.

    If you don't have 200+ games, get a 2.5" HDD case. It's easier to carry around.
