Okay, so I've added Wii Play Motion and Nerf N-Strike Double Blast to the 'wbfs' folder on my NTFS drive that works fine for my other Wii backups, and I have verified that my copies of Nerf N-Strike Double Blast and Wii Play Motion work in Dolphin. However, I'm running into some strange issues with those on my Wii U vWii, which I'll detail below:

    • Nerf N-Strike Double Blast: Crashes USBLoader GX on trying to load the fullscreen banner for the game. Haven't bothered taking a picture of the crash screen, but since the crash is stupidly easy to recreate at the moment, I can get a picture later for any code wizards who want to see what's going on.
    • Wii Play Motion: When showing the game's fullscreen banner, it's solid black with only USBLoader GX's menu playing, and on starting the game, the screen is black for a moment before the system boots me back to the HBC.
After trying clearing USBLoader GX's assorted caches and deleting the global settings file, I unfortunately didn't get anywhere. Any suggestions on what to do here would be greatly appreciated.

you can try what I did. I disabled the global setting for NAND, so it's set to off. I was having issues with skyward sword, black screen, then freezing. I was trying to find a solution all day. now, both skyward sword and its demo launch without issue. I don't know if that will help, but I'm assuming wii play motion uses motion plus?

I also found a bug with castlevania adventure rebirth. I'm loading it via neek. however, my tron wiimote wasn't able to make a connection when selecting the game. it was only after briefly removing the motion plus adapter, resyncing, then plugging it back in did it take for both neek and retail NAND.

What setting are you talking about? I'm only seeing "Nand Saves Emulation" and "Nand Chan. Emulation" options in the Loader Settings menu of USB Loader GX.

Yeah, Wii Play Motion does use Motion Plus, and I have a Luigi Wiimote with Motion Plus built-in.

Meanwhile, I tried setting up WiiFlow WFL version 5.4.0, but it just crashes shortly after it launches for some reason. Any ideas as to why that's happening too?

    Hello from Italy:D
Are you by chance using a fordwarder to launch Wiiflow? What type of crash are you having?

I'm launching Wiiflow straight from the Homebrew Channel. Although I am using a blue HBC forwarder meant for vWii that fixes the 4:3 aspect ratio issue, so... I dunno if launching from the original HBC would make much of a difference.

Although I do have a picture of the specific crash that happens when I tried loading the Nerf game via USBLoader GX, as seen below:

BTW, I don't live in Italy, but I do have Italian heritage, so... My name's not totally incorrect, I'd say. I live in the US, if you couldn't tell.

Yes, I knew u live in the us
However, I was thinking that your wiilow was crashing on its own, not after launching a game.
Code dumps may happen for many reasons: it can be a bad dump of the game, or a particular cIOS that you're missing, or even a faulty drive that with some corrupted sectors.
You could try to post a syscheck here

Yeah, Wiiflow was crashing on its own when I launched it through HBC, but I didn't bother to get a pic of the Wiiflow crash. The crash related to the Nerf game came from USBLoader GX.

When I did an error scan with HD Tune on the external drive I use for my Wii backups, every block came up OK. Although are there any better tools I should use to test the health of my external drive?

Both the Nerf game and Wii Play Motion loaded in Dolphin and were fully working when playing them off of my external drive, so... I legit don't know why the vWii's having issues with those disc images.

I did a quick google for syscheck, and getting the syscheck CSV and the IOS syscheck log files from my vWii should be simple enough, so I'll provide those as soon as I can.

Alright, so I've got the syscheck CSV and IOS syscheck log files from my vWii. I hope this helps.

Hmm.. to be honest I'm not really an expert when it comes to IOS'es and vWii (infact I don't own one, just the regular wii).
But I see you have only 35 IOS'es installed in your console, shouldn't they be more?
There is surely someone better prepared than me on these boards.

One thing that I'd try would be to open your storage device on your PC with Wii Backup Manager, that tells you which IOS each game wants. You could compare that to your csv file, to see if you're missing some IOS.
