I edited my post. I just looked it up. I was mixing that up with ds games, which when I looked for some of them, they were missing.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

if a game isn't showing up, look on the title key site to see if it's even listed.

Well, no the ones im looking for arent.

So i guess that means there is absolutely nothing one can do about that and there is no alternative to play these games natively on the Wii U ?

I mean I suppose converting them myself to WUP wont work.

I don't know. it may be possible to dump them if you've bought them, but I don't know how to do that as I've never done it.

Hey Guys!
...
FAQ 2 - How do I transfer to Wii U/Do you use SD Card? USB Helper should guide you through getting your SD setup. I have not used a USB and I recommend you stick with a 64GB SD card. After the games have been placed in the sd:/install folder (Whether that's a USB Helper Title or MoonTecon vWii Injected Title) you need to put that in your WiiU and start Haxchi. Then Load CFW Mocha (Just start getting in that Habit). After Mocha loads, open Haxchi and choose your WUP Installer Mod Y.

Regarding FAQ 2:

#1 - Can somebody explain why we need to also load mocha? What does Mocha do to help the process? I personally don't really care about DLC or updates as long as the game works.

#2 - I have wup hax, but what is Wup Installer Mod Y?

P.S. Wii USB helper seems cool, but as a linux user who has little luck with wine, I just use FunKiiU still... does it really make a difference? isn't it all just a program for downloading in the end?

you need cfw like mocha, haxchi, or sig patches with sign patcher (have it if you need it) in order to install anything. it doesn't have to be mocha. cbhc also works.

wup installer mod y I think is a fork of wup installer, same as wup installer gx. wup hax, iirc, is a mod of the virtual wii, which has nothing to do with wup installer. the wii u is called wup internally, which is the reason for the names.

Thanks godreborn!

somewhat unrelated questions

#1 - how is it that piracy has been cracked down on? Or am I just imagining that? Has Nintendo been somehow interfering with Wii U title key downloads?

#2 - Does it make a difference to Wii U USB helper or wuphax if the Wii U itself is outdated? For example, my Wii is on 5.5.4, but I believe 5.5.5 just came out

1. Nintendo doesn't seem to care about the wii u at all. it was a major flop, which is probably the reason.

2. it doesn't matter. they should work the same way. I'm on 5.5.1 myself, but I also used system config tool to install most of my titles. it's not needed though. I just wanted to use it.

Is there anything like this for Mac?

I am fairly sure there isn’t. I’ve used it on my Mac with BootCamp and with Parallels (I imagine it would work with VMWare Fusion, but that doesn’t integrate as well with BootCamp). You might get it running with WINE (a program that lets you run Windows software without Windows), though a report from 2017, three versions ago, said it wouldn’t install with CrossOver, a paid fork of WINE:

Just a heads up , this program would be very useful if you were to put in the function of splitting up installations of tickets and games into 250 GIG sections, the use of a Har Drive docking station and 250 GIG ssds can be very useful to the program and would be very fast. I use two of them and have b to manually copy from the installation folder on my 500 GIG M2 drive to the SD , going directly to a 250 GIG drive would be very useful if it could be done within the confines of the program, and a choice of what goes into each one of those 250 gig hard drives would be good. Just a suggestion, and yes guy you are very cool. 250 GIG SSDs can be bought for around $30.00 Canadian no problem and there are lots available as they are not very usefull for installing into laptops, but would be the ticket for these docking stations. I will do a video on this if wanted. Russ Campbell.

Anyone have any clue what's going on? Downloaded VC titles just fine. Moved onto the regular titles and it's been doing this for almost 24 hours now. This image is at 10 hours. It's now at 184,287....the heck? I don't see anything on my machine that it's actually downloaded. If these are actual TMD files, they are nowhere to be found.

Just a fyi. I tried this version a few months back to see what it was downloading and the download included a RAT. I let it run and around 2am I watched someone login and mess with my throwaway Windows install.
I know this post is from years ago, but I have to ask:
Does the Wii U USB Helper app still have RAT malware in it? Or was the problem resolved?

It seems likely they got the RAT from something else.
Anyway, I recommend using WIIUDownloader nowadays.
Alright. It's just that a while ago, on my secondary laptop running Windows 10 (which I mainly use to transfer songs onto my iPod), I downloaded the installer but didn't launch it. Should I be concerned about getting a RAT even without launching the exe?

As of October 2024, Twitter's net worth is estimated to be $9.4 billion, which is almost 80% less than the $44 billion that Elon Musk paid for it in October 2022. This estimate is based on Fidelity's valuation of their stake in the company, which is a closely watched indicator of Twitter's overall health. lul
