I need advise that how do I fix my Wii u which stuck on logo screen.
Post automatically merged:

I acquired a Wii U that has not been used for a long time, and upon starting it up, I discovered that it is stuck on the Wii U logo screen. I’m unsure whether the system has been jailbroken or not, but I strongly suspect it has not been. I have tried various methods found online to resolve this issue, such as holding down the B button on startup or pressing all four front buttons simultaneously, but none of these approaches have worked for me.

Are you sure this isn't just the "Quick Start" menu on the gamepad? That will indeed show installed games, but not in real time, it simply shows what was there the last time the console was booted.

As others have said this is sounding much like NAND corruption. As @SDIO already said, ISFShax / UDPIH will allow you to check logs and see what's going on.

There's then numerous ways to fix it again.

Probably a bad eMMC. Install ISFShax through UDPIH and then check the logs:

Thank you for your reply.

Is there a way to check the version of firmware

I’ve been researching online and discovered that this issue could be caused by various factors. Is there a way to diagnose the actual cause of the problem so that I can apply the appropriate fix? I’m not concerned about preserving any data; I just need to get the system up and running again.

I am reading and learning very slowly :). I was able to grab logs from the system but it was last modified on 10/22/2012. Attaching here for the expert advise from the gurus

Looks like I am on 5.1.2U. The logs I gabbed was last modified by 10/2012. Is there a way to upgrade firmware?

From the logs it looks like mine firmware version is 5.1.2U. Can I still use ISFShax/UDPIH?

Yeah I also wonder what steps are the best for consoles with firmware lower than 5.5.x that cannot use UDPIH but stuck at boot logo.
You cannot upgrade firmware since you cannot get into the system to perform an upgrade, even if you can, will it go smoothly? Since the NAND is probably failing, we should expect the upgrade will fail then there is a change the console can no longer boot and we are forced to de_fuse.

Mine firmware version is 5.1.2U. Can I use this method?

So you have a 5.5.x firmware and UDPIH works. You can stop spamming all over the forum about UDPIH and old firmwares.

From the logs it's clearly a bad eMMC.
Follow the linked guide to fix it with either redNAND or MLC2SD

Okay, thank you, SDIO. Could you provide the links for redNAND and MLC2SD? I'm very new to this, but I'll give it a try and update the status here.

It's all linked in the troubleshooting guide. For redNAND you can just follow this: https://gbatemp.net/threads/fixing-...-soldering-using-rednand-with-isfshax.642268/

For MLC2SD you would solder this, after installing ISFShax: https://gbatemp.net/threads/mlc2sd-a-wii-u-nand-emmc-replacement-interposer.651917/
I am very new to this—actually, it was my first-ever attempt at something like this. I was able to recover my Wii U using the following SDIO guide.

https://gbatemp.net/threads/fixing-...-soldering-using-rednand-with-isfshax.642268/

Thank you very much to everyone, especially @SDIO, who guided me through recovering my dead Wii U.

Regarding @SDIO’s guide, it was very well-written, using simple and easy language that allowed a newbie like me to follow it and complete the process smoothly.

Everything has been done except for 'Booting without SD.' I copied the haxcopy app (haxcopy.wuhb) to the SD card’s wiiu/apps folder, but after rebooting, I don’t see the haxcopy app anywhere. Please guide me how to install it.

I am slowly learning from the knowledgeable gurus here, so I have a couple of newbie questions:

  1. Is my Wii U now modded?
  2. Can I bring it back to its original state?

Your SD replaces now the internal memory, so you will need that anyway. But it is still a good idea to install minute to the SLC in case the SD gets lost, so it is at least obvious that it has ISFShax.
It's not stock, since it needs the patches to use the SD as MLC, but if you mean Homebrew with modding, then you need to add Aroma. The ISFShax guide explains how to setup aroma. Aroma is also needed to run haxcopy

Thank you very much, SDIO, for your quick response. I apologize for any confusion—I’m still getting familiar with the terminologies. I would appreciate some further clarification on a few points:
  1. Since I have moved to using an SD card as internal memory, is there a way to revert back to using the internal memory (MLC) without needing to solder?
  2. Could you provide me with a link to install Haxcopy? I’ve been searching online but haven’t been able to find it.
  3. When we refer to "stock," does it mean the system is modded or jailbroken?
Thank you for your assistance!

You can just boot the eMMC again by using the third option minute, but it will still be in the same broken state as before

Should be linked in the ISFShax guide

The term jailbroken doesn't mean anything in Wii U land. If you wnat to use Homebrew, you should look at Aroma. With ISFShax your Wii U isn't really stock, but it also doesn't have Aroma
