Wii U Production Will Not End Anytime Soon, According to Nintendo

'course they will deny it because despite how much of a huge flop the Wii U is they still want to try and get as many sales as they can. Smart buyers know to wait for the next Nintendo home console (if it's actually going to be worth it) but for those that stick around fanboys they'll say how amazing the Wii U is and that it's a must own. Just no, not at this point it's not worth buying a Wii U. In 2014 would it have been worth getting one? Certainly. That was the year Mario Kart 8, Super Smash Bros., Hyrule Warriors, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze and Bayonetta 2 came out but now it's just too late and at max, you'd be getting replay value for a few months not years.

People have been warned not to buy a Wii U this late in its lifetime but if they do, they can't then complain about how "I only got a Wii U six months ago and now there's this?!?!!?!". Or in two words, buyer beware.

Wii U Nintendo Selects are a good thing that Nintendo's doing but it's more for current users than new ones.

I's hardly a bad console, in fact between Xbone en PS4 it's my favourite, sadly almost no third partty games tot speak of.
Let's be honest, what is available on the system is very good and Miiverse is a blessing, sales aside.
Marketing just backfired on Ninty that is all.

no way in hell will willu last another 2 years. nx will be out THIS year and will be it's replacement. ninty can deny it all they want but i know them better from past actions. and nintendo NEVER changes.

i believe they will end it 3-6 months after the NX release..
maybe we get a wii u"last breath edition" (just like the psp street\wii mini\gba micro)

the wii was actually doing well though up to the point where the gimmick wore off and it started to fall than they dumped it. the wiiu is a disaster and they want it behind them as quickly as possible. the nx is their way out.

Besides the yearly Just Dance games and 2nd party game Pokkén Tournament, there's not much else currently.

The Wii U is a very niche console which does a fairly decent job at it but it's not better than SNES or GameCube.

Either this or next year tops. I want to buy a New 3DS but I know once the new Nintendo handheld is out it'll have a considerable price drop besides, I'm not in a rush to buy one anyhow.
