Nintendo EAD’s Katsuya Eguchi has told Edge magazine that Nintendo are “very happy and excited” about the possibilities for first-person shooters on the Wii U due to the console innovative tablet controller. Apparently when Nintendo were initially testing out the controller they realized just how ’interactive’ first-person shooters became when using a combination of the Zapper and the controller.[/p]

That's the old Wii Zapper [IMG]

It will be better if you get a picture of the Wii Zapper with the Wii U controller.

    FPS on Wii U... Yum.

FPS on 3DS... Even better (to me)

So who here used the original Zapper for Duck Hunt? That game was awesome! I hated the dog though.

Seeing as Valve are thinking about the Wii U FPS could be awesome for games such as Portal.
Imagine augmented reality with portals, seeing holes around your living room connecting to other parts of the same room!

If that controller were to have a rear camera.

From what I know, it only has a front.

[IMG] nooo!!!!! It would be possible with a 3DS but it probably doesn't have enough power to do it efficiently.

Well, that showing it mounted, but it doesn't really how. The controller most have a nun-chuck plug
somewhere on it. Is the string from the nun-chuck holding it down?

    WII controller pics

    Where does it connect to?

I can't seem to get my question across.

What a bunch of bullshit. In 5 years from now we'll still be playing FPS games on PC, that's just how it goes. You can't beat the mouse + keyboard setup for FPS games, period.
