Hardware Wii Tools utilities

I have a hard modded wii (generic drivekey ) If I order a game from Japan that is NTSC like mine, except mines english, then back it up and use wii tools to region patch AND update patch, will it run on mine? or is that possible?

Yes, you can region patch a game to make it run on any Wii.

Aren't the drivekeys supoused to be region free..??
