No. In fact, all it does is erase your saves and channels.

Also, reformatting while Preloader is still installed isn't a good idea. Removing it beforehand is advised.

uninstall any channels you installed with wad manager, run shared2 clean, then do a 4.2 update will get you pretty close (although ios202 and ios250 will remain if you installed them).

please dont do anything stupid like uninstall any system ios's/system menu. im sick of threads from people trying to "virginise" their wii's and doing exactly that.

I don't think that can be done. Formatting your Wii isn't a good idea anyway.

Use anytitle deleter to delete anything you have installed that didn't come from 9-10-DOH. Then format.

Additionally you can do an official Nintendo update to make sure everything is original.
