After that you have many "Ways" to continue.
But the first Thing is doing a NAND Backup please !!

Ok, thank youuse the face buttons on the wii to navigate the menu
Ok, thank you
I have now used the face buttons and I have backed up the NAND.
However, when I now click on "Wii" I get the same health screen with no option to "Press A" to continue...back to square one :-(
Do I now need to do something else/different?
I can boot into the HB channel but this is the only option I get...see attached. Can you boot into the Homebrew Channel (from BootMii) ?
It looks your Wii System Menu is maybe "damaged" but since your Wii is modded now,
it is no Problem to re-install the Menu again.
By the Way,can you maybe reach the "Maintenance Mode"?
On the Health & Safety Screen press and hold the "-" and "+" Buttons on the Wii Motion Controller and press "A".
If you are successful, please go into the Data Management and check of mabye corrupted Channels or Save Data please.
Thank you.

Tried the "-" and "+" And "A" button but that didn't work
Thanks for your help, really appreciate it :-)Ok,your Homebrew Channel is empty because of no Application on your SD Card,I think.
As your next Step you can
- try to re-install the System Menu
or
- re-softmod/update your current State.
Please use this
https://gbatemp.net/threads/posting-a-system-check.300279/
sysCheck Tool and make an Report please to see in which State your Wii currently is.
If I get your first Post correct, your Wii was already softmodded before your Issue ?
Thank you.
Yes,you can use the Tool "SavegameManager GX" from here please:Thanks for your help, really appreciate it :-)
My Wii wasn't softmodded at all, only hard modded with a drivekey chip.
Another quick question, I have a lot of game saves on the Wii, will I lose this when I re-install the System Menu? Is there a way I can backup the game saves?
Here is my SysCheck:Yes,you can use the Tool "SavegameManager GX" from here please:
https://wiidatabase.de/downloads/wii-tools/savegame-manager-gx-beta/
or
https://sourceforge.net/projects/savegame-manager-gx-beta/files/
Yes,it is a BETA and there exists another Version but this BETA works "better".
Thank you.

Great. Now you can use this sysCheck with @XFlak ´s ModMii
https://gbatemp.net/threads/modmii-for-windows-official-support-topic.207126/
You can now try to
- download the Systemmenu 4.3E (as you mentioned in your First Post) with ModMii and re-install it with an .WAD Manager like YAWMM or Multi Mod Manager or WiiMOD Lite.
and/or
- use your sysCheck with the "sysCheck Updater" Option from ModMii to complete your Softmod.
or simply DRAG and DROP your sysCheck.csv File on the Modmii Shortcut or ModMii.exe.
It opens the Update Windows automatically for you.
Oh and I forget, please INSTALL the PRIILOADER before you do anything !!!
(A very good Brickprotection if something goes wrong with a .WAD Installation)
https://github.com/DacoTaco/priiloader/releases/tag/0.9
Thank you.
IOS80 (System IOS) + Systemmenu 4.3could be wrong, but I thought ios80 was the system menu for 4.3.
Thank you once again, I will try this...
I am having trouble backing up my game saves - it says "unable to copy datas"
I'm thinking ios70 is 4.2 and ios60 is 4.1. is that correct as well? I have my syscheck for 4.1, and I have ios60 but nothing above that aside from cios. the fact that his 70 and 60 are stubs could be the reason for the problem.
Yes,thats why I think completing the Softmod first is maybe a good Idea.
60 and 70 maybe needs "patched" (I have no Idea,if SavegameManager GX needs this.. @dj_skual ) because of NAND Access.
Not sure I understand your question?you still use wii??
