Hacking Wii Sports Resort Doesn't work

I updated through Waninkoko's 4.1 updater, but it still asked me to update. Then, I installed "Skip Update Check" in StartPatch. However, when I would start it, it went to a black screen and stopped working.

Are there any IOSs that are required for this game to play? I'm aware updating won't do much to my Homebrew, but I don't really want to do it anyway.

I'm using the disk.

Also, will updating get rid of BootMii boot2 at all? I just want to make sure.

It requires IOS55. And no, the update won't kill BootMii/boot2.
