Six weeks ago, I began what has become a huge obsession of mine. It is called the “Wii Sports Experiment”. I outlined a 6 week game plan for myself, the idea being that I would continue All normal activity and eating habits, and simply add 30 minutes of Wii Sports to my day. I kept to that plan meticulously, here are the results...

My main focus was to be as accurate as possible, aside from visiting a doctor/fitness trainer on a daily basis I did everything as honest and accurately as I could.

Wow, I knew boxing would do something for me (even if it is retarded). Thanks for giving me the inspiration to play the Wii.

I think the key is to play it with intensity and to make sure you do it on a regular basis (daily or every other day) for at least 20 solid minutes.

You gave yourself all this trouble for basically proving what Dance Dance Revolution proved about ten years ago.

    Good job, mate. Good job.

I joked a while back that they should make a Tae Bo type workout for the Wii, and they could measure how your arms moved with the Wiimote/Nunchuck.

Glad it worked out. I'll stick to Tae Bo and Yoga myself though [IMG]

Yeah, I can't tell you how much trouble it was to play one of my favorite games everyday. What a bummer it was.

I was out to "prove" anything, I was just gathering data to what should be an obvious concept. 30 minutes of movement = weight loss. I just wanted my own numbers.

I agree, he didn't try to prove anything.
Because it's obvious exercise leads to a better physical shape or weight loss.

I think your experiment was a pretty cool idea, just supporting that the Wii will get you in 'some' kind of condition.
