No, there are no drivers to get it working on the PC.

Probably not, but I'd love to be proven wrong. [IMG]

My understanding of how the WiiSpeak works is that it's a 2-way device... it also receives the audio from the Wii that the Wii is outputting, so it can subtract it from what its hearing and cancel it out (or otherwise that processing is done on the Wii, but that would seem to be an added burden on the Wii's CPU that Nintendo would rather not do).

So even if a driver was hacked to allow audio in, it wouldn't be as good as when attached to the Wii as it wouldn't have the active canceling going on.

Considering the draconian attitude that Microsoft has about allowing things to capture digital audio destined for output in Windows, I imagine it'd be hard/impossible to recreate the same active sound canceling that WiiSpeak does on the Wii and send a duplicate digital audio stream to the WiiSpeak.

Since there's really nothing otherwise special about WiiSpeak (it's just a mic), I'd say put the same money/effort towards finding a really good standard PC mic.

I would buy a mic [IMG] but i thought maybe i would try, since i have this just around the house and no games for it [IMG]

    Thanks for the help guys.

My idea was this. run a software.. have it connect to iTunes. i play music, it cancels it, i speak [IMG]

But what ever. maybe in 12 years [IMG]
