Hacking Wii Speak Channel Update

I cant find it if its been asked but after updating to the 4.0 system the Wii Speak shannel asks to also be updated. As I had to use the WAD as NintenDOH refuse to give me a replacement ticket the shop refuses to update the channel for me.

Is there a new WAD out somewhere or is there a patch for it? I heard something about IOS61 is used for the new shop and something about the wii speak too???

I got a PAL Wii so the NTSC version is no good for me.

seems you don't read too closely, there is no requesting of wads on this forum

Where did I request the WAD? I asked IF there was one NOT where it is.

If you've seen it then say "yea, there is a new one" then I'll go find it but so far I've not found one.

It might just be an IOS that I've missed or another patcher that does it. There is 1 patcher out that does but its missing the wii speak bit but I read it'll be in v2 whenever it gets released.

As far as i know IOS61 is only for the shop channel. Normally once the channel is updated you can click on whats you have downloaded and updated it from there.

Im guessing because there really is no issue d/l the channel (normally) they may not be a manual install for it.

I found out IOS61 is the shop only. The reference I read was saying you can update the wiispeak channel via the shop but that only works if you downloaded it with a ticket in the first place. If you installed it via a wad then it refuses to upgrade.

Anyone know the ticket ID for the wii speak channel update? I can make the WAD myself if I know what the id was. (PAL version)

Couldn't you remove the channel and then download it from the shop?

I had to install it via WAD so if I removed it, it still wont download via the shop as I havent downloaded it on this Wii.

Anyways i sujuest IOS61 to patch it than i think it will work and will not give ask you for an update.

LOL I updated the Wii Speak Channel to the 2.0 version and im still on 3.2

Tell us how you upgraded and firstly how you got the wii speak channel?
Was it via WAD or you put in the ticket number and downloaded it via the shop?

As I've changed my MB of my Wii I no longer have access to my original shop account which is where the downloaded version of the Wii Speak channel is. And as NintenDOH refuse to give me another ticket I had to use a WAD to reinstall the channel.
