Is there an english version of the SNES Channel for the Wii with a .wad file to install it with? I searched and I could not find anything at all.

Thanks a lot! Sorry for looking like a scrub but the search function here isn't too directed.

    Also I found a SNES-Channel-NO-LIMIT.ISO

Is this the exact same snesgx? And will I be able to uninstall it if newer versions or channel graphics come out?

Don't mess with the channel installer... get the new SNES9x with Classic Controller support. Just run the TP exploit, or run it with the Homebrew Launcher. Works so much better!

The SNES Channel runs the old Gamecube version, and won't work with the SD card (front load) properly, so you better have the Geko adapter if you plan on using the channel.

Yikes I already started the install, and its just sitting here at the updating screen. Is it safe to power off my wii or will that brick it?

    The exact file is called

    SNES-Channel_Trial_NO-LIMIT.iso

yea, restart your Wii, and go into settings/data/wii/channels and then delete the ??? channel.

like I said, just use SNES9x with Classic Controller support (it's a small .elf file)... I can even send it to you if you want, since it's been posted in other threads

NOTE, I will NOT send roms!

Well it installed fine which is cool but I assume this is a gamecube emulator as I cannot press home to go back into my wii menu...

I wish my card reader wasn't broken so I can install the wad file lmfao

EDIT: hmm could I use wii linux to CP a wad from the dvd onto my sd?

don't use any WADs... just use the ELFs... Homebrew Channel or the TP exploit...

I've tried that SNES Channel, and it's crashed my system every time I load it. That's why I recommend the ELF with Classic Controller support.
