Gaming Wii Skins?

I ran across this online and was wondering if there was a way to change the skin on the Wii Menu. I know this is probably fake but I figured I ask anyway.

Nah, that's a fake. There is no real way to "skin" your Wii. None that I know of, at least.

I guess it's "baked" into the firmware, so someone has to find a way to hack it. I suppose it's not impossible is it?
