People are saying that through this new IOS37 update Nintendo is preparing the ground to block games with modified ISO. I know that's gonna directly effect Trucha Signer modifications on ISO, but my question is: ISOs modified with Wii Scrubber will also be detected by Nintendo?

will it not? I was thinking they might not function either because they've been modified and then resigned with the same key that trucha uses.

    Correct me if im wrong.

your wrong. Wii scrubber was around just before trucha and it uses a simple method of just re writing garbage as 00. No need to sign.

If it just replaces data then why does it need the common key?

If you still dont get it, common key is the master DECRYPTION key. It needs is to decrypt the image and find where the garbage data is. The garbage is replaced with 00 and the partition is not trucha resigned, so IOS37 does nothing.

because otherwise you can't decrypt the image to see where the data is.

Actually the common key is also the master encryption key too.

    HAHAHAHAHAHA

Those "kids" were the first to release the twilight hack, the first to discover the trucha exploit in the first place...

The newest Wii Scrubber has an option to scrub using a method with Trucha signer

And the newest (1.21) also uses the Trucha Signer code if you load files back into the image.

Scrubbing, by the usual method, doesn't rely on the Trucha bug.

Nintendo could always start checking via a system menu update in theory but that could be done independently of ios37.

Are virtual console games and/or the wadinstaller/uninstaller channels in danger of it? (also the possible bricking of wii statement i've read)
Also if I accidentally deleted a custom wad *now i don't know the ticket number* so if I indeed have to end up removing all my VC channels, this one's ticket will stay in my wii.
    Would that pose a problem?
