my wii seems to work, like it boots fine and everything and the remotes connect (so they work). hwoever, there isn't any output on my tv. it just says "component not connected". my sensor bar works and i think literally everything else works except for the output or something.

Hello.:)

Thats sad to hear.:(

Do you have the chance to test it with an other Video Cable ?
Did you tried other connectors on your TV ?
Do you have another TV to test ?
When the Wii powers on,change the Wii´s LED to Green ?
Did the DVD-Drive lights up briefly blue ?

Thank you.:)

i bought a new cable to try it with before and it worked for a while and then it stopped working again. there aren't really any other connectors on my tv. i dont have another tv. the led does turn green when i turn it on, and the dvd drive does flash blue once when i turn it on.

Get your Wii hot ?
Is it in "Stand By" (YELLOW LED) or completely "Shut down" (RED LED) ?
Are your components (Video Cable/Wiimotes/Sensorbar/AC Adaptor) original Nintendo or 3rd party?

Only to get sure you don´t have a "brick" or something else.:)

Suggestion for you:

To get 100% sure of your issue it will not be avoided to try an other TV.You said you tried another Wii Video cable. Then the cable(s) are maybe ok.
Or you have the chance to connect another console or a DVD Player or something else to check the TV/connectors works correct.

Thank you.:)

Try reconnecting the component cables from both your Wii's end and your TV's end. If you're using a Wii2HDMI, try using a Wii Component Cable instead. If these don't work, try using a different component cable, if that doesn't work try a different TV. Make sure your Wii's Video Out port is clean, try cleaning it with a can of compressed air. If none of these work, your Wii may be bricked. Do you have any Wii hacks (i.e. homebrew) installed?
