Hardware Wii Points Card Region Locked!

Hey,
Dont know if any one has said this but...
The Wii Point Cards are region locked!

I baught a Wii Points card off ebay - From USA
Because i dident have a credit card at the time.

And tried to use it on my Wii - Australian Wii
And it wont work.

Sold it to a friend in US

Just thaught you guys should know before you
go buying em off ebay and using there codes...

does anybody know if Aust wii points will work on a UK wii?

At the moment we cant get AUST Wii Point cards.
I baught a USA one off ebay and tried to use it on my AUST Wii.

It also didn't work when i changed the country to UK
