If you're looking for PAL releases with bigger differences between regions...

The version of Beat the Beat: Rhythm Paradise released in Europe has both English and Japanese audio, while the NTSC US version does not, making the PAL release superior. The american version is named Rhythm Heaven Fever.

The NTSC-US Version of Pandora's Tower has a pretty big glitch that can completely screw you and make progress impossible, so the PAL release is sadly the one to go for.

Certain games had different english scripts like Animal Crossing.

Thanks very much for these, I've added them to the list.

And I've removed 'Mr Bean's Wacky World of Wii' and 'Let's Sing 2016' because I didn't realise they had a USA release.

Thank you very much @AmandaRose for the many suggestions, but I believe:

'My Pet Hotel' was 'Paws & Claws - Pet Resort' in the USA.
'My Vet Practice' was 'Paws & Claws - Pet Vet' in the USA.
'Petz Monkey Madness' was 'Petz: Crazy Monkeyz' in the USA.
If of course any of these differ significantly in the PAL version then please let me know?

I'm Sorry but I believe all the others you mentioned were planned releases that never actually happened?

Added 'Crazy Quiz! Are You Crazy Enough? [R8QPRT]', 'Family Quiz [SG5PSV]', 'Thomas & Friends: Hero of the Rails [ST4PNX]', and 'Rock Revolution [RVLPA4]'.

Removed 'SAFAR'Wii [RD6PNP]' because same as USA 'Animal Kingdom - Wildlife Expedition'.

....Japan has never been a PAL territory. Some parts of Asia were, but Japan was NTSC. Even then, whatever the video format of a region is, has nothing to do with my post and wouldn't affect the differences in content I mentioned.

I am not even sure what are you trying to say with that, really.

@squee666 You're wrong, Japan also uses NTSC, not PAL.
Japan's NTSC code is NTSC-J
Korea also uses NTSC too, its code is NTSC-K

PAL is exclusively only in the continent of Europe and in the country Australia.
weird probably got the regions confused with the fact japan uses region 2 dvds aswell which were pal at the time aswell

Disc region is a different matter, and yeah, region 2 can play in many PAL areas and Japan, but a disc can have multiple regions and as far as I know it only deals with being able to reproduce it on devices of devices from regions the disc producer wants, and not so much with video formats... But I'm talking from memory.

The version of Beat the Beat: Rhythm Paradise released in Europe wastes space including the Japanese dub, while the NTSC US version does not, making the US release superior. The american version is named Rhythm Heaven Fever.
Another perspective on the matter. Those who prefer Japanese dubs are not as common as those who prefer them assume.

Apparently Nintendo adapted the 3D All-Stars emulator, instead of their old Virtual Console emulator - or, if nothing else, copying what fans have done.
