Pretty much a reverse of last week. Nothing worth a damn on the DS while the Wii has some real big hitters. Wii gamers have really been spoilt.

These dates are what retailers say is out unless stated otherwise, sometimes they <b>make </b>dates up for pre-ordering purposes so not all can be trusted. These dates could also be <b>"shipping dates"</b> which usually means that that's the date when games get <b>shipped </b>to stores so a game could either be in stores on that day or <b>after</b>.

Some games may get <b>delayed </b>some others not listed may appear but at the moment of posting these are correct. Also just because a game is released in stores it <b>doesn't</b> mean that they'll appear on our internets but NA titles usually appear on our 'nets Wednesday night UK time.

Have patience and remember scene releases are not a right but a privilege.<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc-->

<b>My Wanted Level</b> High
<b>GBAtemp Wanted Level</b> Medium

<b>Region</b> North America/Europe (25th) <b>Genre:</b> Scrolling Fighter
<b>Developer:</b> Bionic Games <b>Publisher:</b> Capcom

Once upon a time Capcom did some of the greatest scrolling fighters of all time...then they stopped. Thankfully they have returned to the genre and even the look of those titles for this all new exclusive Wii title made with Wii gamers in mind.
<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->In Spyborgs, players take on the role of a diverse team of five bionic superspies in a fight to save the world from a group of dastardly villains. Players jump between the identities of a team of five bionic superspies to combat a rogue squad of wacky, dysfunctional super villains. Each character has unique powers to match their super-spy skills, such as heavy firepower, martial arts, bladed weaponry, acrobatic skateboarding skills or pure robotic destruction. This cast of characters may make a misfit group individually, but by utilizing them as a team, the Spyborgs will have the power to save the world -- if they don't blow themselves up first!

Engaging players in team-based challenges designed to utilize 2-player co-op play, Spyborgs takes the theme of "team" to a whole new level. In Single-player mode the "team' theme continues as players jump from one member of the superspies' team to the next, rapidly tackling different challenges designed around each character's unique abilities. The game promises fast, addictive gameplay, unique controls offered by the Wii Remote as well as a storyline that refuses to take itself too seriously for a dynamic and fresh gaming experience.

* Stunning Graphics: Pushing the graphics capabilities of the Wii, Spyborgs will offer a variety of vibrant environments and detailed character models alongside action-packed gameplay.
* Extreme Co-Op: Designed around the 2-player co-op experience whether playing alone or with friends, single players can jump seamlessly between characters at any time to take advantage of their unique weapons and skills while friends can tag-team it to create crazy combos and finisher moves for the ultimate brawl.
* Brawler-style Gameplay: Action-packed, intuitive gameplay for all skill-levels.
* Robust combo system to master: Multiple character specific combos allow players to chain light and heavy attacks to increase their Combo/Power meters and unleash devastating “Finisher” moves and “Co-Op Finisher” moves.
* Upgradeable Attack System: Power-up by collecting “crimson spark” currency from defeated enemies and destructible environments to purchase upgrades.
* Instant Character Swap: Users can instantly switch between two characters mid-combat to utilize each character’s strengths.
* Cinematic Boss Battles: Epic, action-packed and absolutely thrilling battles featuring full-screen, dynamic and wickedly challenging bosses.
* Robust Achievement system: Similar to Xbox 360 and PSN, players are rewarded with an Achievement Title signifying their accomplishment. Taking it one step further, these Achievements also unlock bonus videos, concept art and new challenges in the game.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
An old fashioned traditional beat-em-up is welcome in my book. So far there has been one review from NGamer who gave it 60% but then Muramasa got some scores like that while other reviews rated it much higher so if you're someone who plays games based on reviews, its based to wait for more scores.

<b>Region</b> North America/Europe (25th) <b>Genre:</b> Brawling Fighter

Its by the developers of Smash Bros Brawl and it has Ninja Turtles in it, it should sell a fair bit its safe to say unless reviews are bad.
<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->This four-player fighting game features the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, as well as their enemies and friends, in melee battles similar to the Super Smash Bros. franchise. Not only can you immerse yourself in the world of TMNT through the story mode, you can also challenge your friends at home or online in a variety of multiplayer modes including tournament, battle royal, and more!

* Packed with over-the-top ninja action and smack-talking gameplay, Smash-Up offers hours of fun for novice players as well as ninja masters. Finding unique combos and unlocking and special attacks add more elements to each character and battle
* Be prepared for interactive levels with moving arenas, gators jumping from the water, and many more surprises. Collect "shells" during battles and mini-games to unlock memorable moments and exclusive content of TMNT's 25-year history
* The single-player story mode offers a completely original story written by Peter Laird (the co-creator of TMNT)

This has certainly had a lot of effort put into this and its been in development for a very long time. It can't be worse than TMNT Wii From what I'd gather from the "hands on" previews, it seems like its going to be a "love it or hate it" sort of game. Most say that people shouldn't expect a Brawl clone. I'm on the fence about this game, the trailer makes it look great but I've heard that there are some control issues.

<b>My Wanted Level</b> Very High
<b>GBAtemp Wanted Level</b> High

<b>Region</b> Europe <b>Genre:</b> On Rails Horror Shooter
<b>Developer:</b> Visceral Games <b>Publisher:</b> Electronic Arts

<b>Note some retailers say the Europe version is released on 1st October but the more reliable ones say 25th September</b>
When this was first announced many of us hoped that it'll use the engine used for the gme that was originally going to be released on the first Xbox. Then we saw that it woul be on rails and we all thought...fuck it. Then the videos came by and we got more interested. Then the previews were posted and it became a sought after title.
<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->Dead Space Extraction tells the story of a handful of space colonists desperately struggling to escape from a horrific infection on the Aegis VII mining colony deep in the furthest regions of space. The game introduces a new heroine to the fiction and as the crew fall victim to a mysterious contagion aboard the ship, it becomes clear that protecting her may be their only hope for survival. Dead Space Extraction introduces all new characters, weapons, enemies, puzzles and co-operative multiplayer gameplay.

Built from the ground up and developed exclusively for the Wii, Dead Space Extraction is a prequel that reveals the events leading up to Isaac Clarke's mission on the USG Ishimura in the original Dead Space game released in 2008. Dead Space Extraction marries the innovative motion controls of the Wii Remote with a frenetic first person perspective to create a new action-packed horror experience.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
The title may bring some scares to some people out there. Reviews for the game so far have been pretty good, stating that its a good deep game with some very good & original additions to the on rails shooter genre. Its also been noted that the story is very good too which helps for an on rails game. Visceral Games developed the first game and they say that they have put a lot of effort into this game as they were ordered by EA to make something that "core" Wii gamers will love. Consider me hyped.

Ubisoft are
going all out on this game, they see it as their own Mario Galaxy. While I really dobut it'll be anywhere near as good I am expecting a very good game of high quality.

I haven't got lot to say about this other than wonder what happened to the proper Spore game Wii owners were meant to haveo once.

It could be good but it sounds like another cash in from EA, Spore is the new Sims I guess and like those Sims spin offs, console owners will probably miss out on what the PC version was actually like.

Ah, so I guess they're giving us some time to finish all the amazing games from last week. Thanks for the news Hadrian.

Woah.. good week for the Wii!

Spyborgs, Dead Space Extraction, Rabbids Go Home and maybe Shaun White for me.. really liked the first game, pretty fun with the balance board.

Dead Space Extraction has the potential to be one of the best on-rail shooters of all time.. it'll be nice to play a shooter where you don't have to aim on the head, and with a good story and ambientation.

Not that I pirate Wii games. At least Wii games won't cause a sever crash... right?

Thanks for the nice write-up like always nonetheless.

A few have actually crashed the server. Smash Bros, Mario Kart, Mario Galaxy. I think The Conduit slowed things down quite a bit but while there are a lot of great looking games I don't think these will crash the forum unless it was a highly hyped up title with Mario in it.

New Mario Bros Wii might though.

How are you guaging the "GBAtemp wanted level"?
Responses from threads, shoutbox and irc.

They're not 100% accurate of course and are probably pointless to some but I thought just having my own wanted level wasn't fair to the games, especially seeing how bored I am with modern RPG's.

Thanks for the weekly write up, bro!
Though the Wii seems to be in for a treat this week, I think the overflow from last week's DS releases are enough to satisfy us for a while.
Where's Waldo on the DS sounds interesting though!

Spyborgs is getting me incredibly hard. Beat 'em ups make my love juices flowing so much, and it's rare to find a good one in modern day. Dead Space looks pretty uninteresting, since there's already HotD and Resident Evil Chronicles out there. I'm more of a Star Fox on-rails guy myself. Otherwise, very uninteresting. WireWay may provide some fun.

Is it 1994?

I wonder if he'll be called Wally for the Europe release.

What's wrong with "modern" RPGs?
Generic story, battles, same systems but slightly changed. Modern RPG's are riddled with filler gameplay.

I know most gamers who have been playing games for 20+ years feel the same. There are still the odd interesting RPG every now and again but most give me "RPG fatigue".

Thanks for the heads up. Some games are looking really good.

I'm really interested in Dead Space and Spyborgs. Those look real good. I love rail shooters and co-op games. Gotta try out TMNT SmashUp as well although it doesn't look as good as Brawl.. and I don't even like Brawl (Brawl+ is an exception - check my sig

) Melee for life.
