Waninkoko has released a homebrew app for dumping your Wii's NAND chip. The contents, of course, are encrypted so it's not really for general use.

    - SD Gecko
    - A way to load homebrew

    1. Insert the SD Gecko in Slot A.
    2. Insert a SD card with at least 512 MB of free space.
    3. Run the application and wait until it finishes.

The dumped NAND is encrypted. To decrypt it is needed the
console's NAND key (do not ask me about how to get it).

here is the official site http://wii.waninkoko.info/

no one has posted this and i think its a big deal as i have dumped from nand and was really easy. hope this leads to something good.

edit. just read that people think the nand key is loaded to ram and i think the team twizers came out with a ram dump tool so we could be almost at custom firmware
