Alright, so the contents of "patch-dir.zip" should be "patch-dir/files/..."

I have now gotten to that. Installing N++ now. Thank you.

    One last note:
If you expect images >4 GB, set "ASK_SPLITISO=1" in create-image.sh

Oh, ok, I didn't know that's what it meant. I thought it meant to split into .wbfs files. I'll change that.

If enabled the user will be asked if he want a splitted image. If disabled the image is always stored as 1 peace.

    ATTENTION:
Please remove "iso-patcher/zero-files.txt". It is a relict of my Mario Kart Distribution and may force empty files, which are not replaced by the post-patch script.

In the first post, you mention the above as a "to-do" item.
Would that allow to convert a Riivolution distribution to a patched ISO?
Did you ever implement this or plan to?
I would like to try some Riivolution distributions, but with the convenience of not having to swap discs (yes, I'm lazy).

I have started to write a bash+awk script (2.7 KB, 146 lines), last edit at January 21 in 2011. And I don't remember the state of project.

It looks like your CTGPR to ISO/WBFS converter script, over at the mkwii forums, will give me access to most custom tracks by having a CTGP ISO.
    I'll try it tonight.

    Thanks!

But it is not the planned automatic script, the copy-files script was made semi automatic.

Yes, but between CTGP and your distributions, that's a lot of tracks I can have in ISO form.
I tried it tonight and it worked like a charm.

    You must do it manually:
    1. Extract the MKW image: wit extract mkw.iso WORKDIR -vv
    2. Replace all files following the XML file manually in WORKDIR/...
    3. Create a new image: wit copy WORKDIR mkw-black.iso --id=MKB -vv

    What are your exact plans?

    I see 3 options:

First is to load the newest MKW-Fun and strip the patcher. Look into file create-image.sh

Another way (easier, but for Windows only) is to adapt DMM NEWER-SMB os SSBB script

And a third way is to adapt the script "patchimage (riivolution patcher for GNU/Linux) " by Excelsiior
