Hi there.

I have a wii mini bricked.
May I read the nand using a RT809H programmer? If I have a nand.bin copy, could I extract the keys.bin?
I have a good wii mini in the same 4.3 version as the bricked one. Can I make a dump of a good nand.bin and use it as a donor nand? Can I inject the keys.bin in a good nand.bin and unbrick the other wii mini?

Thanks and sorry for my bad english.

Ermmmmm depends assuming you have both a nand and system keys (if they suicided too) you cloud fix it but if the keys are bad and you don’t have a back up ur screwed to my knowledge

This can be done for regular wii's using punetwiin, I think it should work on a wii mini as well

Edit: generally nand.bin backups made by bootmii include the keys, so it u have a good nand.bin apps like punetwiin can retrieve the keys without having a separate keys.bin file

OK, if you are asking what I think you are then the answer is no. The only type of nand.bin that has the keys and other security data embedded in it is the one generated by bootmii. If you read the flash using a device programmer you will end up with only the NAND contents and not any other other data.

Since the tools like punetwiin that let you build replacement NANDs need the keys for the target console they can only operate with bootmii style NAND dumps and not with raw ones.

One of the sites that weren't blocked on the school's network was some file uploading sites. I would upload some games, write down the URL and take it to school one day.

It was easy to bypass some of the restrictions, as one of the admins left a registry key in the administrative shares drive, which allowed me to get around the blocking of some sites.
