Gaming Wii Launches in Europe

I've been away from gbatemp for the past two days...THAT's how good the Wii is

Looks like Wii is sold out pretty much everywhere. Argos in the UK won't take any more preorders, even though I heard there's more to come soon, hopefully before xmas. Can't wait to fly over and be able to play mine ^^.

There will be a new shipement the 15th and the 21th, at least in France, I think it will be the same in the others european country.

I got mine yesterday morning. Fortunatly, I had preordered it, because almost all Wii were sold out the night before.

Zelda rocks so far and I haven't played Rayman yet.

Think mine's a bit borked

Sometimes when I put a disc in it makes a horrible, loud WHHRRRRRRR*CLICK*WHHHRRRRRRRR noise CONSTANTLY and, although it works, the game will take ages to load past the title screens and then usually give a disc error. If the disc goes in and doesn't make those noises straight away, it'll be fine until I change discs

Got mine from an Irish chain called Xtra Vision yesterday. Picked up Wii Play, Red Steel (just to try it even though the reviews have been crap), Zelda and Rayman, as well as the virtual console controller.

Incidentally my right arm is killing me today

Call me a noob, but I find this Zelda Wii quite difficult.
On the gamecube version (jap) I didn't die at all for all the time I played.
On the Wii version I got killed about 10 times already!

Oh and also I think the bootstrap of the wiimote is thicker than for the US/J versions...
