Gaming Wii Launches in Australia!

I gots my wii.
I've played with my wii.
now I'm going to bed.
because I have to be at work at 8am
to sell more wiis

I almost got an Australian Wii from my aunt in Melbourne, but she gave up when she realised you have to pre-order, or stand in line around midnight (both pretty trying tasks when you're 65). So she sent me moneyz so I could wait in line myself...

And all the while, I had no idea of her devious intentions, so I've been saving moneyz myself...

While my brother was saving moneyz in secret to surprise me by paying half the Wii himself (he's 16 so I thought I would pay the entire Wii; I have a job, after all)...


So:
a) I'm getting a Wii in 48hours, and
b) my brother and I now have tons of spare moneyz

(We'll probably spend it all on games

)

man, I'm tired.
wish I got to sit 'round and play wii all day....
but noooooo people are too crap to come to a midnight launch, and still want a wii!
so work it is, for me.

oh yes, it's fabulous.

edit: just played through wii play, with my partner, and it was heaps of fun.
I particularly liked the duck hunt style game, and billiards (or should I say 9-ball)

I was suprised. Walking into BigW at about 12:30pm to 'have a look' at what they had and managed to walk out of their with one.

Been playing Wii Sports and Play all arvo, will check out Zelda soon.

Same here, picked mine up at 12am. But the GF wont let me play anymore till Christmas (she payed for half, for christmas). Though she did have a play with wiisports with me for a while, she raped me at bowling, she got 176!!!

i got 103. :'(

SO now i have Zelda sitting there taunting me.
BTW if anyone got their stuff from EB, i pick my stuff up but in the morning i noticed that JB hi-fi had all wiigames on sale for $79AUD, COntrollers for $59, Wiiplay for $64 and the console for $388. I went back into EB today and came out 60 something $$$ in my hands

but im pretty sure target also have the same low prices so if you are close by to either stores and got your stuff from EBgames, tell them you want them to price match what you paid, they will happly give you the excess money.

GT Pro Racing (Yes im taking it back, its horrible and thats just from what ive seen on the back cover) Maybe Swap it for Monkey Ball or Rayman.
