Hi everyone,

I need some help.
Here it is, short and quick:
I was having trouble with my Wii, and so as a last resort I updated to 4.2 using the official update, I'd thought I could install my Homebrew again later.
Thing is during the update my connection died and so the update failed and my Wii switched off. Now when I try to start it up it just gives me a black screen.
Bootmii wont start even tough I had it on Boot2, I'm assuming that it's been wiped off.

Am I screwed? Can I still start up SSBB and use the hack to reinstall BootMii and restore my NAND?
How do I start up a game? Rescue menu?

Help please!

its possible (however unlikely), that u may still have priiloader (assuming u had it installed b4)... it depends on whether ur connection died b4 or after installing your new system menu

if u can't access priilaoder or bootmii, then ur bricked... only solution might be an infectus mod chip

So is that it?
I could probably fix it using an Infectus, but I was hoping there'd be a way that didn't involve opening the Wii up.
Im gonna try overloading the Wiis memory to try and bypass the Wii and get onto data management if possible... i doubt its gonna work, but i might as well try.

nope, your wii is doneskis

that IMO is an ultimate brick

boot2 was overwritten and preloader if installed is gone now

it probably stubbed your SM IOS and didnt finish installing the IOS70 and SM 4.2

ouch.

Nintendo *should* fix since it bricked during an official update

Ok. I can't access the Recovery Menu...

Wait, so would Nintendo know I had homebrew on my wii? I mean shouldn't it have gotten all wiped out with the update?

No, your Wii is all f´ed up.

Just call Nintendo, they´ll replace it.

Well, BootMii on Boot2 is history for you...
