    Space.
I think the slope under the Wii logo is what makes it kind of odd up in the corner. I would have offset the Wii text with another light color shade behind it, not white.

    Interesting look though.

I think I like it. it really does separate the wii titles from the rest of the pack.

now, if they would have done a clear slip covercover (like the cardboard ones for the japanese gamecube games) and made the white wii sweeping curve, semi-transparent, that would have been ace!

Red Steel has blood on the box art but not ingame........lame.

The Zelda boxart looks horrible with that line diagonally down the middle too, it's very distracting as your eyes can't really focus on one central image, I hope they fired that artist.

I think the Wii bar at the top of the box arts looks alright, certainly looks a lot better than the Playstation 3 bar.

Not that it should be this big an issue, but Ubisoft has said that the final build will have blood, just not huge gushes of it.

normally I'm not the one who wants blood in games, but it's different with Red Steel, because I want some kind of "feedback" when slaying people with the sword...

There is a red slash then you swing your sword and hit someone, but that disappears instantly. Maybe that's what they're talking about.

I like the box art, it makes the focus of the box art on the actual game and doesn't clog up space by a huge logo at the top

Okay, that's just creepy. I actually just found my old CYOA books from gradeschool and I was holding that book just awhile ago (but different cover since I have the old-ass versions) before I put it back in the boxes. [IMG] Space Patrol. [IMG] Maybe would have owned if Tony Hawk was in there.

EDIT: btw the old cover has Samus in it. I'm too lazy to scan so just google it maybe. :/

Just judging by what has been shown so far, I love the box art. I miss the old genesis/NES era boxes that *gasp* actually had great artwork on them compared to just showing one character and a logo.

Hopefully now companies will spend a little more time perfecting their boxes

I think they should have used something like the DS cases. Nice, small and you can put them anywhere. I have never liked the DVD cases.
