Hacking Wii freezes if I pick sd card on sys menu

I was wondering why my wii would freeze when i click the sdcard on the bottom left when at the system menu.
it pops up saying Loading from the SD Card...
Itll stop all music and freeze. I have to hold power to reset it. and then when turning it back on, the power light goes green for 5 secs, then shuts off again.
I have to press power once more to actually get back in.

Corrupted SD card, potentially with bad data on it.

Make sure that you've deleted BannerBomb off the card, if you used that to softmod it. Try making a copy of your card's contents to your computer, then reformatting the card. This should clear up any issues... If it doesn't you have a bad save file on the card.

Thats what I thought. so i Have 3 diff sd cards. 1 I even made totally empty, same thing.
I was wondering if it was just a side effect.
1 card i have is with my legit mp3s/txt files for my pda. other 2 are just for wii messing around with. ill try and do another clean format on one of the spares.
