Hacking wii freeze

i went from a 320gig to a1.5 ter portable drive now the games are freezing up what can i do to fix this please help

Your Drive is most likely going into sleep mode while your playing. Depending on the drive you have you should be able to download software to disable it. What brand is your drive?
