Gaming Wii Fit Help

I bought wii fit today and put the original disc in the wii and it played up trying to find the disc but got it in the end. Played a bit of wii fit to show the wife and decided to put on the wii fit channel. I restarted the wii but i can not get the disc to even show up. I have just been back to the store to get a replacement thinking it may be the disc but the new disc is the same. I have tried homebrew stuff and they work i.e mario kart and an original like wii sports works. Has it bricked my wii or blocked it when i put in the fitness channel. I have removed the channel by deleting it in the wii channel remover section of the wii but still wont work.
Im not sure of what chip i have got but i can easily find out, i know its not a wiikey tho. Wii is updated to 3.2e

the only thing i can say to do is format wii system memory as that should clear up any crap you have
