Gaming Wii family trainer mat on DDR?

As the title says, is it possible to use wii family trainer mat on dance dance revolution?

Well it really depends on what you mean by "working".
It IS compatible with the wii however the controls of the mat are fked up.
Like pressing left goes right and up goes right or something.
Just buy a DDR mat and you are ready to go
