A method has been found for dumping Wii game discs via PC. Unfortunately, the process takes approximately 50+ hours to dump an entire disc!

You will need: An LG-8164b or LG-8163b DVD-ROM drive.
The DVDInfo program.
.NET framework 2.0 installed on your PC.
The apps attached to this news post.

A readme with instruction is included. Remember, this process takes over two full days to dump a single disc. This method is suitable for testing purposes only!!!

I can't tell my sources as it will proably break some rules

I understand the reason for releasing such a tool, but c'mon ... what's the use right now? If there was a modchip/exploit, I'd dump a game even if it took two days (quicker than downloading usually).

Right now it's just recognition for the release group.

Is this supposed to be a working method, if somebody has tested it yet?
Dunno but the dumps count till now is still stuck at 6. If this supposed method was working, why wouldn't we see more raw dumps around. Seems suspicious... Could a malware in disguise..

Has somebody disassembled that supposed tool yet ? Last but not least, who has released that tool?
