Hacking Wii cutting leg with wiikey -> have problem

Hi guys my friend put wiikey i think (clone wiikey) with his wii with cutting leg chip .

the copy game dosen't work and one know why !? he have latest wii update i think 3.1 ( mario galaxy update before installing wiikey) .

he tried to upgrade the modchip but i dosen't work to he got error reading disk !!

i think original games work fine he changed the chip many times but the problem still the same .

Assuming wii cutted leg means a wii with clipped legs , you did rebuild the legs or solder directly to the stumps?. Not just stuck the chip in and hoped it worked.

Do a search on GCOS and you will find out!
And yeah, the cut legs have to be restored or the chip has to be dremmeled etc. Search that too! It's all on this forum already.

Don't need a pic , just look on the chip that says d2b , if you've got cut legs , you'll see it as three will be missing. If you really can't tell , just google d2b cut legs , you'll find a pic somewhere.
