Heyo. I bought these guys here https://www.amazon.com/Classic-Cont...ii-Console/dp/B00FJ2LPPS?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1 off amazon US, black third party classic controllers, that I wanted for my black third party wiimotes.
I have a couple of original wiimotes from 2010 and a classic controller from ~2017ish and it goes without saying I've never had any issues with the original cc-- Devolution, Nintendont or the native gamecube mode (with my sole gamecube game disk I own)
I booted up a gamecube rom through USB loader GX, and noticed that when I press R, Zr is triggered instead. Thought it was odd, but oh well. Maybe the paths were switched on the PCB, who knows.
So I begin planning out on how I'll switch the RL/ZrZl components on the board (soldering wires, getting the buttons on the right place and stuff).
Then, I get a controller tester on the homebrew browser to check the button inputs as I go, and I notice that they are not switched there. (<- talking about the controller I havent messed with the board yet, that still switches buttons)
Does anyone have any idea as to why might that be? (And I checked with Nintendont and Devolution, can't remember having tried with my one gc disk, but I got these for multiplayer games anyway, so I didn't bother testing with the Wii's gc mode)
