Is there a way to put cheats on your wii for the wii games on your external hard drive?
You can get the codes here: http://geckocodes.org
but when I start Ocarina, it says that I have to put a DVD in, but you said you can do it with games from your external harddrive as well? (I have a Western Digital Elements 500 gb harddrive)
You must use the ocarina function of an USB loader
not the ocarina app itself
and do you know where you can find that?
1) Get ANY USB loader (Configurable, GX, WiiFlow)
2) Go to the settings
3) Ocarina should be there
I have USB Loader GX, and I see it. But when I change some from ''OFF'' to ''ON'' then it says they've made a GCT File but when I play the game, the cheat is not activated
After you created the GCT file, you still need to go to the game load settings and activate ocarina
Then it should work
Don't forget to save the settings after you turn ocarina on
You can also get cheats on http://www.wiiboxart.com if you go to the first yellow icon on the listings (Game info) and if anyone wants to develop a way to auto download these from the site work away , and if you need any info just contact me please
When I started my USB Loader GX and then choose Animal Crossing Wii (lets take for example this game) and then choose ocarina, it says that no GCT File has been found...:S
But I saved my GCT file in the ''codes'' map on the root of my sd card. There is also a ''txtcodes'' map on the root of my sd card, I don't know if that has something to do with this....
Can anyone help me?
Maybe you have codes from the wrong reigon? Check the name of the gct file. For Animal Crossing Wii, the file should be RUUx01.gct (x being the game's reigon, E for US/NA, P for PAL reigon, and J for Japan).
Well, some of the cheats are working now
I've downloaded them with USB Loader GX but not every cheat matches to the description...
but thanks for all the help!
