Hacking Wii boots to black screen. Semi-Brick??

Hello everyone. Got a problem.

Modded my old Wii (4.1U) using the ModMii Installer a couple weeks ago. Mainly to backup my Wii saves and GameCube memory card saves. Everything worked fine. Just been playing some GameCube games, no backups.

This morning when I turned my Wii on, it booted to a black screen. Wiimote just flashes, no Health and Safety screen, no sound, but the light does turn green and I can insert games and eject them just fine.

I've looked into it and it seems like a fairly common thing to happen. I can boot into priiloader and open the homebrew channel just fine. I haven't messed with any custom themes. The only IOS/WADs I installed were those from the guide.

Basically, from the last time it booted normally til now, I only played a legit Gamecube game for a few hours, then turned the Wii off.

Any advice or should I just try to flash my NAND backup and start over.

    If your throat closes, putting oxygen in your mouth will not solve anything - as you will be introducing oxygen prior to the area of obstruction
