Hacking Wii Black Screen

I have a soft modded Wii running 3.2 with starfall installed.

I tried to update to firmware 4.0 to sort out Wii resorts everything seemed to go fine untill after the installation I rebooted to find the black screen.

All the lights are on the front and the power light is green. The remote turns the unit off but I have no video signal.

Will Starfall bail me out ??

As I don't own a gamecube control I will have to go and find one off someone..

Advice please !!!

Did you use a offical update or a wanikoko updater?

If startpatch work, I dont really know who Startpatch and Preloader works (I know the second is better for fixing bricks). If they do work, try to get HBC started, then manually update to 4.1 with example xzxeros softmod guide (offline method).

Then you should be a happy camper again.
